Part I
WARM UP
Activity 1
Class begins with music and warm up. Students are invited to get on their feet, get away from their desks and follow the professor's muscle groups - isolation warm up.
In previous classes, we added conscious breathing at the end of the warm up, self-affirmations, meditation, mindfulness and relaxation techniques.

Part II
INTRO TO SOUND ART
Sound art is an artistic discipline in which sound is utilized as a primary medium. Like many genres of contemporary art, sound art may be interdisciplinary in nature, or be used in hybrid forms.

Activity
1. Students will work in groups to record sounds with the objective of making a sound-art statement.
2. The groups will create a lesson plan about this activity using the MDCPS' curriculum.
